Javier Castellanos Serrano.
Founder and publisher of RentCaliber, responsible for its calculators, market-data pipeline and housing research.
What I do at RentCaliber
I oversee and maintain the models behind RentCaliber, review the assumptions used in published studies and document where every market figure comes from. The work focuses on turning public U.S. housing data into calculations that small rental investors can inspect and reproduce.
RentCaliber is independently operated from Spain. I am not a real estate broker, appraiser, lender, insurance agent, attorney, accountant or financial adviser. Published calculations are data analysis and educational models, not professional advice or property recommendations.
Research approach
- Use named sources and publish the period each figure represents.
- Apply the same assumptions across cities when making rankings or comparisons.
- Publish downloadable study data and enough methodology to reproduce the result.
- Separate commercial links from calculator results and research conclusions.
- Correct material errors and explain the change.
Read the full research and corrections standards or the calculator methodology.
